Macmillan Understanding Cancer Training
These workshops are designed for everyday lay-people or professionals, who have been or may be approached by someone who has a diagnosis of cancer, or is affected in a more indirect way.
They are designed to give people some basic knowledge about cancer, and to provide the tools and ability to have a conversation and signpost to the support which may be needed.
The workshops are completely non-clinical, interactive and informative.
Whilst we advertise them as 3 separate sessions, we advise to attend all three, this way it really puts them into context and perspective
